Do I Smell Greek Lamb and Flaming Cake?!

Yes, indeed. Lamb seasoned with salt, pepper, oregano, olive oil, and bits of garlic stuffed in puts a wonderful smell in the air!

This past week, I flew into Kansas City for a job interview but was lucky enough to cook with a bunch of strangers!

My significant other's parents pride themselves in their culinary skills. They teach at a beautiful culinary center in Overland Park, Kansas.

Nick's mother, Beth, is English/Lebanese. His father, Mitch, is Greek.

Together, they create amazing dishes from recipes that have been passed down throughout their families.

Mitch and Beth Kelloff started the class off with some olives that had been soaking in a homemade mix. We each had a delicious glass of white wine.

This particular cooking class featured Lamb (as described above), chicken seasoned with lemon, salt, pepper, and oregano, and buttery, seasoned potatoes.

To complete the meal, the Kelloffs prepared a flaming cake. No, it wasn't spicy. It literally had flames on the top!
